Role Description
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to work on some exciting projects as our client grows their media and broadcasting presence in EMEA. You will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and high client satisfaction.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will collaborate with various teams, including engineering, CAD, programming, and technical support, to deliver exceptional results. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development, with potential for career advancement within the company.
You will be based in the UK, with occasional travel required to client sites and project locations globally. Our client offers a dynamic and innovative work environment, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
- Overseeing and performing project management functions on all stadia, broadcast and media projects, budgets and scopes.
- Daily activities include project communications, scheduling, task lists for technicians, managing deliverables from engineering, CAD and Programming and overseeing the completion of projects.
- Act as the responsible person for their assigned projects and have direct control over all project activities.
- Mentor other Project Managers within the company. This specific role is aligned with our media and enterprise accounts, it requires close attention to detail, strong stakeholder management and a comprehensive approach to project management.
- Completing systems integration projects on time, on budget and achieving high customer satisfaction from our customers.
- As the primary interface to the client, the project manager develops a strong long- term relationship.
- Managing the client relationship, including expectations, communications and satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager in a client facing technology sector, delivering complex & demanding projects
- Extensive experience with LED, Large Audio, Digital Signage and Networking.
- Ideal experience with SMPTE 2110, Broadcast, Streaming and Video Production technologies
- Ability and skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political and people related problems.
- Strong financial background in project cost accounting
- A recognised Project Management Qualification (PMI, Prince 2 Practitioner etc.).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- AVIXA CTS certification (Desirable but not essential)
- Manufacturer certifications from brands like Ross Video, RIEDEL, Tripleplay and LED providers.
