Project Delivery Manager - Tagetik Projects

Our Client is a business consulting firm that offers corporate performance management and IT advisory solutions, putting together professional consulting expertise on projects related to the world of Corporate Performance Management with implementations of solutions. They support customers in the development of Performance Management and IT Advisory projects. Their mission is to bring to the market the innovative processes proposed by the their Partners, but also to position the best practices with the most prestigious International System Integrators.
They have a Nordic branch, located in Stockholm and are looking for someone dynamic and proactive to own the end-to-end delivery process and manage projects. The role could be a permanent position or an independent consulting one.
ROLE
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects - ensuring they meet client expectations, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular engagement with clients to align project outcomes with business goals. Delivery Managers play a pivotal role in project audits, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design phase of Tagetik projects, gathering and discussing functional requirements with clients (preferably consolidation, FP&A also valued)
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Tagetik projects, including resource planning, time management, task allocation, and issue resolution
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, including managing meetings with C-level stakeholders
- Establish and motivate high-performing delivery teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project goals
- Conduct data analyses to assess project progress and identify areas for improvement
- Control business procedures and ensure adherence to delivery standards
- Prioritise tasks to maximise delivery efficiency and product/service quality
- Mentor team members on project management techniques and delivery best practices
- Continuously seek ways to enhance team performance and output
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Budgeting, vendor management, and understanding financial impacts of delivery decisions
- Collaboration: Ability to foster teamwork, empower individuals, and provide constructive feedback
- Project Management Expertise: Familiarity with methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools for tracking and improving delivery
- Mentorship: Skilled in guiding teams, motivating members, and setting sustainable workloads
- Risk & Resource Management: Proficient in identifying risks and allocating resources across development, testing, and rollout phases
- Senior-level experience in implementing Tagetik projects
- Undergraduate degree in business, computing, or a related field
- Proven ability to lead design phases and translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Strong project management skills with experience in full-cycle delivery of Tagetik solutions
- Effective communicator with public speaking skills, capable of managing high-level stakeholder meetings
- Experience managing small delivery teams (2–3 people)
- Preferably fluent in Swedish and based in Stockholm; candidates from other Nordic countries will be considered
- Ideally working as an external consultant (contractor); exceptional candidates may be considered for direct employment
- Postgraduate degree in project management or equivalent experience is a plus
- Degree apprenticeships may be considered in lieu of traditional academic paths
