Role Description
The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for leading the UK IS Application Services team and ensuring the effective management, configuration, and optimisation of enterprise applications. A major focus of this role will be driving the successful delivery of the HubSpot CRM project, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Role Responsibilities
Management, Planning and Delivery
· Manage the UK IS Application Services team ensuring targets are consistently met.
· Maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, ensuring service levels are met and that FI remains informed about product roadmaps and emerging capabilities
· Lead on the planning, implementation, testing, and rollout of new enterprise applications and major enhancements to existing systems, partnering with internal teams, vendors/partners and other key stakeholders to deliver well-integrated, purpose-fit solutions that support strategic business goals
· Translate business requirements into system specifications, ensuring solutions are designed to meet operational needs and deliver measurable value
· Coordinate cross-functional input during project lifecycles, facilitating workshops, gathering feedback, and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout
· Manage system configuration and data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and minimal disruption to business operations
· Support change management efforts by contributing to training materials, user guides, and internal communications to ensure smooth adoption of new systems
· Monitor post-implementation performance, identifying opportunities for further optimisation and ensuring systems continue to meet evolving business needs
Application management and configuration
· Manage HubSpot CRM by overseeing user administration, data integrity, workflow automation, reporting, and system optimisations
· Leverage automation and AI where possible to enhance performance
· Act as the primary liaison with HubSpot and other enterprise software vendors. Work with account managers to enhance systems in alignment with business needs.
· Configure, maintain, and optimise enterprise applications to meet business requirements
· Ensure smooth data flow and connectivity between enterprise applications, proprietary systems, and third-party platforms
· Monitor and maintain application performance, troubleshooting issues and ensure system stability
· Manage upgrades, patches, and integrations in collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors
· Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, integrations, and processes
· Establish and enforce best practices for data management, reporting, and system usage across the organisation.
· Ensure enterprise applications follow best practices for security, access control, and compliance with relevant regulations
Stakeholder collaboration
· Work closely with leadership, internal and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
· Coordinate and support testing and quality assurance for new implementations and updates
· Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment
Support/troubleshooting:
· Lead a department that provides support for core enterprise applications
· Assist in training users, promoting adoption, and ensuring a smooth transition during system upgrades or new implementations
· Liaise with vendors and partners/providers to resolve issues efficiently
Continuous improvement:
· Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimisation
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement improvements
· Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices to inform future strategy
· Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate processes to improve efficiency across departments
Essential Skills & Experience
· Strong expertise in HubSpot administration (certifications are a plus), including experience with HubSpot APIs and integrations
· Team management experience
· Proven experience managing, configuring and supporting SaaS-based enterprise applications
· · Familiarity with integration tools and methods (e.g., API-based integrations, middleware solutions and automation platforms)
· · Experience in data governance, workflow automation, and process optimisation
· · Strong understanding of how enterprise systems interact across departments (e.g., CRM, finance, HR, TMS, LMS)
· Ability to configure, maintain, and optimise applications to meet evolving business needs
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system issues efficiently
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
