Role Description
The Junior Data & CRM Administrator will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality, structure, and usability of the organisation’s CRM data. Working closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams, this role ensures that all customer and prospect information remains accurate, current, and actionable. You will oversee data hygiene processes, including cleaning, deduplication, enrichment, and compliance checks, supporting the business in making informed, data‑led decisions.
Beyond data maintenance, the role contributes to the effectiveness of marketing and campaign execution by preparing segmented datasets, identifying data gaps, and ensuring smooth end‑to‑end workflows within the CRM. The successful candidate will proactively monitor data quality, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work to optimise how data flows through systems and processes. Role Responsibilities
Perform routine data hygiene tasks, including duplication checks, record merging, normalisation and compliance updates.
Import, update and audit large data sets, ensuring alignment with internal standards and GDPR regulations.
Maintain and enhance data segmentation to support targeted marketing and outbound campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure accurate lead lists and support campaign set‑up.
Identify data gaps and enrich records using available tools or verified online sources.
Monitor CRM performance, flag issues, and support troubleshooting with internal teams or vendors.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, quality standards and workflows.
Generate simple reports or dashboards to support visibility into data quality and marketing effectiveness.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
Strong attention to detail with a methodical, process-driven approach to data handling.
Comfortable managing spreadsheets, large datasets and structured data workflows.
Understanding of data hygiene practices such as cleaning, deduplication and normalisation.
Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to support data-driven activities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to spot inconsistencies and recommend improvements.
Excellent organisation, documentation and communication skills.
A genuine interest in how data supports marketing, campaign performance and wider business operations.
