ROLE DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter with a passion for words and a curiosity for storytelling to join our growing creative team. In this role, you'll support the development of engaging, brand-aligned content across digital and print platforms, helping us connect with our audience and communicate clearly.
You’ll work closely with senior creatives, designers, and marketers to write copy that is informative, compelling, and always on-brand. Whether it’s social media posts, landing pages, product descriptions, or blog articles, you’ll learn to craft content that not only sounds great but also serves a purpose.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who’s early in their copywriting career and eager to grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various formats, including emails, blog posts, product pages, social media, and marketing assets.
Collaborate with senior copywriters and designers to support larger campaign work, under the direction of the Head of Marketing.
Adapt messaging based on brand voice, audience, and channel requirements.
Edit and proofread your work to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency.
Conduct basic research to inform content and ensure factual accuracy.
Take feedback and apply it constructively to improve your writing over time.
Stay up to date on content trends, tone-of-voice guidelines, and brand messaging.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
0–2 years of experience in a copywriting, content, or editorial role
Strong written communication skills and an ability to write with clarity and creativity.
Familiarity with digital platforms (social media, blogs, websites, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
A team-first attitude and willingness to learn from feedback.
A portfolio or samples of writing work (can include class projects, freelance work, or personal content).
Understanding of SEO fundamentals.
Desirable Skills
Experience with tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, CMS platforms, or project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana).
A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
