Role Description
The role is defined by relationship and connection. You will be accountable for the continuity and expansion of their portfolio of clients, managing the engagement beyond existing projects. The impact you create comes from identifying and surfacing opportunities, making a measurable commercial contribution to pipeline expansion. You will maintain trust between engagements, turning insights into conversations that expand what's possible for their clients.
Role Responsibilities
They are looking for managers who excel at strategic relationship building. You specialise in looking beyond current projects to find whitespace and opportunities for growth. Your expertise involves:
- Building and maintaining relationships across all client stakeholders, moving beyond immediate project contacts
- Developing and building account engagement plans that keep the business present between projects
- Being accountable for commercial contribution by sourcing and surfacing upsell and cross-sell opportunities for the team to deliver
- Monitoring client health signals (such as NPS, CSAT, renewals, and engagement trends) and flagging risks early
- Driving product adoption and usage for non-active clients.
- Connecting a client with a different part of the company’s service offering.
Essential Skills & Experience
- You like the buzz of staying connected and are passionate about building relationships and keeping conversations alive between projects
- You are curious, care deeply about client success, and take ownership of your portfolio
- You are a strategic thinker and investigative by nature, with the ability to spot growth opportunities and commercial signals
- You are experienced in account or client management, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment, and know your way around building trust and rapport with senior stakeholders
- You are highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing multiple accounts at once
- You are data-savvy, able to monitor client health signals and act on them, and know your way around tools like HubSpot and project management systems
