Role Overview
Our client have a unique opportunity for a Senior AV Project Manager to join their growing Project Delivery team. The Senior AV Project Manager will be tasked with delivering their customer’s largest projects in a Main Contractor environment and will be responsible for the delivery of large AV system integration projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Delivery of large AV system integration projects into various general contractors on time, on budget and achieving high customer satisfaction from both our customer and the end user.
- Quality assurance of CAD drawings and schematics, alongside other technical deliverables, also provide the ability expedite proceedings when necessary.
- Hold overall responsibility for delivery of all projects being delivered under the “Major GC Projects” banner
- Perform a lead role in establishing, owning, and developing a major projects delivery capability in support of business expansion into the general contractor market.
- Provide first line guidance and escalation support to other project managers delivering projects inside the Major GC stream, (this does not include line management responsibility).
- Managing the client relationship, including expectations, communications and satisfaction.
- Provides clear leadership and ownership for the project within the organisation, including accurate and timely verbal and written communication and follow up.
- Coordinates all activities associated with the timely, accurate and on-budget completion of the project, including engaging stakeholders, delegating responsibilities clearly and running client and internal project meetings.
Essential Criteria:
- In depth understanding of audio/video systems and their function/control
- Detailed understanding of CAD drawings and schematics
- Proven experience of working in commercial construction trades and environments, (Health & Safety aware).
- Commercially aware and able to interpret contracts.
- Experienced in the use of MS Office to support Finance, Change and Configuration Management activity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good people skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical projects desired.
