Business Development Manager - EPM/CPM

Our Client is a business consulting firm that offers corporate performance management and IT advisory solutions, putting together professional consulting expertise on projects related to the world of Corporate Performance Management with implementations of solutions. They support customers in the development of Performance Management and IT Advisory projects. Their mission is to bring to the market the innovative processes proposed by the their Partners, but also to position the best practices with the most prestigious International System Integrators.
They have recently open a Nordic branch, located in Stockholm and are looking for someone dynamic and proactive to own the end-to-end sales process and generate opportunities. The role is a part time position to start, becoming a permanent position after 12 months.
ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have a previous experience in the EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) and a network in the industry will be a plus. You will be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify potential customers
- Source new sales opportunities through high volume outbound cold calls and emails
- Qualify potential customers
- Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
- Track progress towards meeting sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results
- Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management
- Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities
- Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the EPM industry is a must have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- Experience in outbound sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
